FEU rests assured Veejay Pre will remain a Tamaraw

DESPITE the rampant poaching rumors surrounding him,
Veejay Pre
would still rather opt to stay in
Far Eastern University
.

Insiders from the Tamaraws camp expressed confidence that the chatter involving the
UAAP Season 87
Rookie of the Year will stay as that: pure talk.

“Dito pa rin yan,” the source said. “Kung aalis siya sa amin, matagal na siyang umalis. Pero gusto mag-stay ng bata.”

Pre has found himself in the middle of the poaching rumors with three rival schools inquiring about him for a potential move.

If he leaves, he will have to redshirt the upcoming season and lose two years of eligibility, leaving him with only two seasons left.

Nonetheless, this hasn’t stopped potential suitors from sending feelers to Pre and his family to explore what they present to be greener pastures.
