Tesla and SpaceX founder
Elon Musk
It has allegedly proposed a significant amount of money to influencer Ashley St. Clair with the aim of having her keep their supposed child confidential.
According to
The Wall Street Journal
Musk proposed a single payout of $15 million (P850 million) and monthly support of $100,000 (P5.6 million) to St. Clair with the condition of staying silent regarding their young child.
This was verified by someone close to the 26-year-old social media personality, who told People that Musk compensated her for keeping their offspring confidential.
Additionally, the report stated that St. Clair’s infant son, previously identified as R.S.C., has been named Romulus. The document also mentioned that the outcome of a DNA test indicated with high probability that the senior advisor to then-US President Donald Trump is indeed the father.
The examination conducted by Labcorp indicated that there was a 99.9999% probability that Musk is the child’s father.
A spokesperson for St. Clair informed People magazine that the test outcomes confirmed Musk as the father and also disclosed the child’s name.
In February, St. Clair
revealed
On point X, she mentioned that both she and Musk have a son together.
“About five months back, I embraced the arrival of a newborn into our lives. The father is Elon Musk. This information hasn’t been shared before as I aimed to shield our child’s privacy and security. However, recently it seems evident that gossip magazines plan to reveal it anyway, disregarding the potential damage it might bring,” she penned at that time.
St. Clair added, “My aim is to let our child develop in a healthy and secure setting. Therefore, I request that the media respect my child’s privacy and avoid engaging in intrusive reporting.”
However, a month later, St. Clair’s legal team said that Musk had “financially retaliated” against her and their son after filing a petition for custody with the New York Supreme Court in February.
“Elon Musk has responded with financial retaliation against his child and significantly cut down support without prior notice,” stated Karen Rosenthal from St. Clair’s legal team at Bikel Rosenthal & Schanfield LLP to People magazine.
They included, “Following this, he took action only after Ashley had to take the matter to court when he declined to address her numerous private efforts aimed at resolving the issue discreetly.”
St. Clair asserts that Musk did not attend R.S.C.’s birth and “has only crossed paths with him thrice and has played no part in his care and development.”
Musk
clapped back
In a tweet posted on March 31, St. Clair responded to an investigative journalist after they commented on a video showing St. Clair selling her Tesla to cover childcare expenses.
“I’m unsure if the child belongs to me, but I have no objection to determining paternity. A court order isn’t necessary,” he stated, highlighting that regardless of his biological connection, he has provided Ashley with at least $2.5 million, which exceeds 141 million pesos, along with annual payments of around 28.3 million pesos.
In that tweet, St. Clair replied, accusing Musk of refusing a paternity test before their child was born, only providing financial support to stay in control, and later cutting off that support to punish her.
“Elon, we requested that you verify paternity via a test before our child (whom you named) was even born. You declined,” she stated.
You weren’t giving me money; instead, you were providing support for our child whom you believed needed it… up until the point when you took back most of it as a way to assert control and penalize me for being disobedient. However, this action ends up hurting your own son.
She likewise faults him for attempting to muzzle her via legal means while simultaneously humiliating both her and their child on his social media channels. She concludes by referring to him as a “spoiled brat.”
“It’s ironic that your final attempt in court was to silence me, yet you use a social media platform you completely own to spread negative comments about me and our child globally. Control seems to be your main concern, and everybody can observe this.”
She ended with, “America needs you to mature, you spoiled big kid.”
Musk is reported to have 14 children in total, including one with St. Clair, and
13
with three other women.
