The Social Security System (SSS) and the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (Tesda) have entered into an agreement to extend SSS coverage to Tesda employees who work under job order (JO) and contract of service (COS) agreements.
As per the accord, approximately 3,800 non-regular employees at Tesda’s central and regional offices will receive SSS coverage.
The agreement was sealed by SSS President and CEO Robert Joseph Montes De Claro along with Tesda Director General Jose Francisco Benitez.
This effort aligned with the KaSSSangga Collect Program designed to broaden social security protection for employees working under JO and COS programs within the government sector.
