QC Job Fair Boasts Over 11,000 Employment Opportunities

Quezon City Mayor Joy Belmonte has stated that the city administration will provide numerous employment opportunities via their yearly job fair scheduled for Thursday, May 1st, which coincides with Labor Day.

The event will take place from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the M.I.C.E. Center within the city hall complex, with more than 11,000 job opportunities available, according to the mayor.

The local administration mentioned that around 100 businesses from different fields and governmental organizations were anticipated to join in order to provide job opportunities, particularly aimed at “QCitizens.”

Belmonte has motivated all job seekers, particularly those from within the city, to seize this chance for kickstarting or furthering their professional paths.

She stated, ‘By hosting this job fair, we are fulfilling our promise to build a community where all residents can find jobs that are both good and significant for them.’

“In Quezon City, we think of employment as more than just a means of living—it’s about giving people power, respect, and a way to build a brighter tomorrow,” she stated.

At the job fair location, the local government will establish a single-service center where various governmental departments will offer assistance to candidates in fulfilling their employment prerequisites.

Onsite services will include membership registration and identification card D issuance for Social Security System, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, and Philippine Statistics Authority for the national ID.
