CAPAS, Tarlac , Philippines — Robyn Brown completed a golden treble in ruling the women’s 100-meter run while Paris Olympian John Cabang Tolentino marked his return with a bang in the men’s 110-meter hurdles in the ICTSI Philippine Athletics Championships.
Running like a gazelle, Brown ended her memorable campaign at the New Clark City Athletic Stadium pulling away to win in 13.85 seconds.

After an emphatic win over Paris Olympain Lauren Hoffman in the 400-meter hurdles last week, Brown added her second mint in anchoring the national 4×400 mixed relay team also composed of Kharis Lark Rey Pantonial, Bernalyn Bejoy and Hussein Lorana to triumph in 3:29.85 late Friday night.
Tolentino, meanwhile, survived the challenge of former Southeast Asian Games champion Clinton Kingsley Bautista and FILAM Sports’ Kaleb Emmanuel Luton, clocking 13.98 seconds for the down-the-wire win.
Bautista, the 2022 Vietnam SEA Games gold medalist, settled for runner-up honors in 14.16 seconds while the 6-foot-3 Luton, a former volleyball player, (14.29) bagged bronze in his debut in the trackfest.
