A low pressure area off the coast of northeastern Mindanao will bring cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms over Visayas, Mindanao, Bicol Region, MIMAROPA, Quezon, and Batangas, according to the state weather bureau PAGASA’s early Saturday morning forecast.
At 3 a.m., the LPA was spotted 135 kilometers east of Surigao City.
Meanwhile, Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms because of the easterlies.
Light to moderate winds and slight to moderate coastal water conditions are expected across the country.
The sun rose over Metro Manila at 5:33 a.m. while sunset is expected at 6:13 p.m. —
