The mother of a teenage girl from north London who had been missing for more than a week has spoken of her relief that she has been found after fearing she would never see her again.
Hanna Balcer, 14, went disappeared from her Barnet home on April 24.
Police launched an urgent appeal as her disappearance was completely out of character.
She was brought home at 6am on Friday after she was recognised in a public appeal picture.
Her mother Izabela told

: ‘Our daughter was brought home by police at 6am after she was seen by someone who recognised her from the media appeals.
‘I can’t put into words the relief we are experiencing as her parents.
‘There’s been so many sleepless nights wondering if she was safe and if we would ever see her again.
‘I’m glad to say she is unharmed and we are now rallying together as a family.’
In an update on Friday morning, the kacanginkapolitan Police confirmed she had been found.

she was ‘desperate for information’ on her ‘beautiful’ daughter.
She said: ‘It is a week now since Hanna vanished and we are becoming increasingly desperate as a family.
‘Every moment she is missing seems like an eternity for us.
We need everyone to keep their eyes open for our beautiful daughter and pick up the phone to police if you see her or know anything.

After leaving home on April 24 she was spotted at New Barnet station at about 5.50pm that day.
There were also reports that she had been in central London on Wednesday following a huge public appeal.
