Reform UK has pledged to use all possible means to prevent asylum seekers from being accommodated within their council regions.

Yesterday, the party’s chairman Zia Yusuf stated that ‘all possible means’ would be utilized to fulfill their leader’s commitment.

It’s Sunday With Laura Kuenssberg: ‘Judicial reviews, injunctions, there are planning laws… Many of these hotels, when you abruptly transform them into something akin to hostels, end up violating numerous regulations. Our team of legal experts is currently examining this matter.’
During the weekend, Mr. Yusuf stated that young individuals require a moral overhaul, and under his party’s governance, schools would instill a deep appreciation for Britain. He informed The Sunday Times, “Let’s be clear; the British Empire wasn’t flawless, yet I genuinely believe that, all things considered, it brought about far greater benefits than detriments.”
He mentioned that the party acknowledged the reality of how local councils ‘fall short’ compared to Westminster’s authority, stating ‘this is part of an ongoing process towards having Nigel as prime minister alongside a Reform majority.’ Mr. Yusuf added that if elected, they would ‘remove all individuals currently residing here unlawfully.’
Mr Farage has cautioned council employees involved in diversity or climate change initiatives to consider ‘alternative career paths’.
In the meantime, the newly elected Reform Greater Lincolnshire mayor, Dame Andrea Jenkyns, reiterated her proposal that migrants might be accommodated in tents.
“This is public funds, and they should really go towards buying tents instead of paying rent,” she said to LBC.
